Jeffrey Shore's Responsive Play Things

Here are three photos of Jeffrey Shore's 'PlayThings'. I am not suggesting that communities install Shore's 'Playthings' - I am just demonstrating that if the 'powers to be' really wanted kids to play (but do they?) this is what 'they' would 'install'.

And of course older kids and/or parents would be involved in supervising the younger children - even though these items are very soft and light-weight.. And yes the community could built these 'Playthings' themselves for next to nothing.
